As a licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years of experience, I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, peer/family conflict, and life transition difficulties. I also provide family counselling and parenting support to foster stronger connections with their loved ones. My goal is to help clients build resilience by developing their coping skills and exploring underlying emotions to navigate life’s challenges.
I believe that every individual has inherent strengths that can serve as a foundation for growth and healing. By identifying what clients already do well and reinforcing their capabilities, I help them develop confidence and autonomy in managing their difficulties.
My practice is client-centered and informed by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Regardless of my training, when clients meet with me, they can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive space to explore the issues that matter to them. For many, asking for support can feel like a significant step. It is my honour to walk that journey with my clients – side by side - one step at a time.
